Biography
After I got my third (Ph.D.) degree from KSU, I became a professor of Counselor Education at the University of Florida (1973). After 35 years in that position, I retired in 2008. I was very actively involved with the American Counseling Association, and its regional and state affiliates, throughout my career. I also was significantly involved with the development and professionalization of the National Board for Certified Counselors. I traveled throughout the United States and much of Europe as I engaged in a wide variety of professional activities.

Being one of the seven “40 week wonders.” We were the last pledge class of (local chapter) Chi Sigma before it became Zeta Lambda. Because the entire Chi Sigma chapter had to be formally initiated into Sigma Chi before we could be initiated, we were pledges for a total of 40 weeks! And also the very first Zeta Lambda Sigma Chi initiates. We had a grand time through it all; the brothers were great to, and for, us.
